I've been meaning to do a half marathon for years now, but always seemed to have found an excuse such as exams, pub and cake! But this year, a friend managed to convince me to take the plunge by embracing the pain that awaits...

All raised funds will go to the Children's Society, which is a charity I've been involved with for many years and have found them to be particularly proactive in their efforts to help kids in the UK. As we all know, children can be very vulnerable to harm and I believe it's our responsibility to do our part in making their lives a little easier.
