Our lovely mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in late April 2010 .  She had been unwell since November 09. Her symptoms were very progressive and unfortunatley a correct diagnosis was not made until late in April 2010.

This type of cancer is one of the hardest to detect and as a result is typically diagnosed very late. By this time, tragically the results are terminal. 

We are asking for people to donate in memory of our beautiful mum who was taken from us on the 27th May. This will enable more research to be carried out on earlier detection and more effective treatment of this terrible disease.  There is very limited government funding for this type of cancer research, and we would like to help raise money in her memory.
