I wanted to give something back to The BaNES Carer Centre because of the support they have given me since the Covid Lockdown. I had never considered myself as a carer I was just doing what I believe everyone does for their family. Once introduced to other carers I realised just how important it is to share our stories and be able to support each other who are in similar situations. 

The Carers Centre put on many events for the carers most for free and I want to enable them to help more people by raising funds for them. I thoroughly enjoy the group sessions and can see how important it is for carers to have somewhere to meet with others, can have a chat, laugh and get support.
