Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I, Sarah Edwards, (the Sarah Edwards who doesn't like nature, camping, snow, being cold, or just generally being inconvenienced in any way) am going to be sledding from Norway to Sweden pulled by a team of huskies.  On the one hand it sounds like an amazing trip of a lifetime but, if you know me really well, you will know it's an unlikely choice for me. My own father laughed for about 20 minutes when I read the itinerary, just at the thought of me doing it. So rude! 

I am terrified - particularly as I just read something about sledding over frozen rivers and lakes which sounds very dangerous and not really like something I want to do... However, the statistics on domestic and sexual abuse are terrifying and if me experiencing some mild discomfort for a short period of time, means that even one woman gets help, then it will be worth it. I am funding the whole trip myself so everything I raise will go directly to the charity.
