This is it, Im on my way, Thank you for all your support,  for more  info  on teh adventure to come go to

http://raleighcostarica.blogspot.com/

Just in case there is anyone still wanting to spur me on with sponsorship Im going to be very cheeky and ask if I can divert your donation to St Michaels Hospice in Basingstoke. I joined some of my medical colleagues to do the Midnight walk on Saturday 3rd September. It was ONLY 11 MILES but sounded like a good incentive to help me keep up the momentum. You can follow the link to  http://www.justgiving.com/Health-Service-Walkers

Thank you all for helping me to achieve the financial target for Raleigh I have the hard work to do now putting that money to good use in Central America. If you would rather your donation went to Raleigh please dont let me disuade you

UPDATE  Sunday 23rd May  3 Peaks started 11.20am yesterday, Ben Nevis 5.25, Scafell Pike 4.10 and Snowdon 3,55 TOTAL TIME INCLUDING TRAVEL 24 hours and 15 minutes. Home and stiffening up nicely!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

If you´ve got this far you have probably heard what I´m up to and just how excited I am to be planning my sabbatical. This is my opportunity to spend 3 months in Costa Rica and Nicaragua with Raleigh facing who knows what personal challenges whilst being able to support the organisation in its work both in youth development and in the communities it is supporting. I shall be self funding all the personal costs, your support goes towards supporting the charitable objectives of the organisation.

For more of that have a little rummage round the website, if you are inspired it's not too late to join me! http://www.raleighinternational.org/

If you want a specific tangible challenge to sponsor me for well Ive signed up for the "Three Peaks Challenge", thats Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours over the weekend of 22-23 May. Ive been asked some tricky questions about just how far that is and now found the answers. About 25 miles distance and 2900M of climb, thats up and down again. For the locals thats 26 trips up and down Beacon Hill in 24 hours.  Thats a scary thought. I will keep you posted on progess when the time comes. LATEST UPDATE. Aiming to walk Beacon Hill once a week and do an extra lap each time until  the event 17.3.10  DID 6 LAPS TODAY. 28.3.10  7 LAPS !! 2297Feet   5.4.10  8 LAPS  10/4/10 9 laps 18.4.10  10 Laps
