We grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Story

Unfortunately due to the Typical English Weather, I could not perform the Skydive on Saturday 29th May.

The Skydive has now been re-scheduled for Friday 9th July...

What am I doing??

I will be performing a tandem skydive on Saturday 29th May 2010.

This involves me being strapped to a professional skydiver, whilst he/she does their thing, their thing being jumping out of aircrafts flying at an altitude of 12,000ft (roughly 2 miles)..

Why am I doing it??

I have been asking myself that question since I signed up...

I am doing this in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation UK.. The Make a Wish Foundation UK grants "wishes" to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

Wishes can range from building Therapy Rooms and Holidays to meeting the likes of Peppa Pig to Cheryl Cole, or even just being a Princess for the day..

While sometimes it doesn't seem much, the granting of these wishes can change the lives of not only the children but also their familes, letting them take a much deserved break from hospitals and doctors, even if for a day.

To be clear the thought of jumping out of an aircraft scares the life out of me, so please support my cause, I need to raise at least £400, (I would like to think I could do better than that), even a quid helps, and just think you'll get to see me terrified, plummeting to the ground screaming.. it's got to be worth it..

Thanks in advance for your help

Lots of Love

Sarah
