4 months ago I lost my partner of 23 years and my children, Henry & Darcy, their much loved Daddy.

Those of you who knew Gareth, will know how strong he was throughout his illness and that he kept fighting right up to the very end. His strength of character and resilience helped him and us cope with a truly hideous situation.

We were so very fortunate to have the care and support that the Marie Curie Hampstead Hospice provided and would have been completely 'at sea' without it. We hope that by undertaking this 6 mile nature walk, we will not only raise awareness but also much needed funds for this fantastic facility.

It's very easy to say the words 'he's dying' but trust me, it takes a very special team to help both patient and family to survive the physical and emotional challenges that these few words really mean.

Thank you for supporting Henry, Darcy & me. We promise to make you and Gareth proud as we take part in the walk....and if you fancy joining us, please do!
