Story

10 members of the Savills team in Southampton have volunteered to sleep outside in Southampton's Guildhall Square on the night of the 19th of October 2018.

We're raising money for the Society of St James, as part of their Sleep Out event and we're hoping that one night of relative discomfort for us will help fund the services that can improve the lives of the many people who find themselves without a home in Hampshire.

We selected The Society of St James as our office charity due to its work as a Hampshire-based homelessness charity, providing accommodation and support to over 2500 people each year.  The charity works with people with diverse and complex issues, including substance/alcohol addiction and mental health problems and their range of services includes supported housing for homeless people, drug services throughout Hampshire, a social enterprise scheme, and a specialist residential care home.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
