Anybody can make someone laugh or give a compliment, but I know that people can do something more- something awesome! 

My name is Charlie and I am 8 years old.  In January of 2014, I became passionate about helping our rainforests after learning about the massive amount of destruction happening to them.  It is my mission to get as many people as I can to help save them and our earth! My younger sister, Elise, has always supported my fundraising efforts to help save our rainforests.  But one of the things that she really loves is to write little kind notes to people. It makes her feel good to spread joy to others. Inspired by Kid President, the Rainbow Rock Project, and my mom's suggestion that we could combine our passions, we came up with the Just Giving...A World of Kindness project. 

So let me explain how our "Just Giving...A World of Kindness" project works!  Elise has been working hard writing kindness rocks to put out into the world for a stranger to find, and brighten their day.  We want to sell these rocks for $1 each. All proceeds will be donated to the Rainforest Foundation UK.  

I know it might sound like a lot, but it's easy! Most people I know can afford $1.  I know our rainforests need so much more, but all we need is more people with caring souls.  With your help we will have an army of bills coming to the rescue, and a lot of care! So every time you give $1, we will put a kindness rock out into the world for someone to stumble upon and make them smile.  Our goal is to sell 500 rocks this holiday season, and ALL proceeds are donated to the Rainforest Foundation UK to help save our rainforests. We need our "lungs of the world"! 

So get out there people! Join our project, do the challenge.  And if you did last year's challenge- awesome! And the year before that -again- awesome! You are all awesome people. Prove it! Be kind.
