On Saturday 21st November I will be volunteering to sleep rough in a church graveyard with nothing more than a cardboard box. The aim is to raise money for the 'Rainbow Charity' that supports vulnerable people through times of crisis in Kent. Last year I managed to raise £181, which provided much needed food for a number of homeless people over the festive period. This was a very humbling experience and reminded me how fortunate I was to be able to return to a nice warm home the following morning. I'd love to say to catch up on sleep but my girls had other ideas. A small sacrifice to put a smile on people's faces, worth while in my books..
