We are an intrepid and ever-changing group of riders from from 1st Felpham Sea Scouts and will be participating in the Ride & Stride for the fifth year running. The sponsorship we raise is evenly split between the Sussex Historic Churches Trust and our own Parish Church, St. Mary's in Felpham. Last year we raised a total of £525.50. We were also runners-up in the team trophy for the second time. We are striving to match these results in this year's event, albeit with a much younger Troop.

Once again we hope to cover between 30 and 50 miles with a stop at every church along the way. This year we will be starting in Selsey after a night's camping, and make our way back to Felpham.

The bike ride falls on the same weekend as the heritage days this year, so we hope to get a larger than usual number of visitors to sign the Ride & Stride register in the oldest building in Bognor Regis: our very own Parish Church.
