I like chocolate - and a certain nostalgia for the former name of Snickers is why I'll  be on the start line for the London Marathon.

Anyone who knows me, realises that chocolate is a frequent topic of conversation. It's pretty much my whole galaxy and I know I'll rely on it on race day to give me a boost just when I need it.

So close to the event I confess to feeling a ripple of excitement. I've done the training, I won't be among the runners who finish after eight hours and I don't plan to flake out.
