Story
Today marks a year since I officially joined the team at Children of Adam, ahumdulillah for this opportunity.
Lots of events have taken place with sisters, brothers and young children getting involved, alhumdulillah.
When my Aunty died in February it was a very difficult time. What kept me going was being part of the team at CoA and knowing I could help others.
"Imagine waking up every morning to serve the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallahu alaihi wasallam"
This year 2020 has been a tough year for many of us, especially with the pandemic.
There's been lots of losses, everyone has lost someone or someone they know.
My next project is to raise money for a masjid "In the Memory of our loved one's in Peterborough"
It's £8,500 to build a masjid and I'm looking 150 kind people to donate £50 each for a prayer space on behalf of a loved one as a Sadaqah Jariyah.
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) in which the Name of Allah is mentioned, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.'" (Sahih)
The Mimber and Imam prayer space will be auctioned off insha'Allah, please do look out for that.
Please do donate generously and let this be a means of goodness for our loved ones that are no longer with us.
May Allah swt enshroud them all with his infinite mercy and reunite us all in the neighbourhood of Rasulallah sallallahu alaihi wasallam in Jannah Ameen.
The role of the Masjid has always been instrumental in the social, moral and educational uplifting of the Muslim community. In Prophetic times the Masjid was not only a place of sanctuary and prayer but also a thriving educational institution and lay at the heart of the society.
Children of Adam has a dedicated Masjid Construction Project Team and we like donors of Masjids to be fully involved in the project from sharing with them the initial plans for a Masjid to construction and completion.By donating in the way of a Masjid makes an excellent form of sadaqa jaariya for loved ones (including those who have passed away)
