In 2017 my beautiful wife Lesley was diagnosed with Anal cancer and after a tough and gruelling treatment plan she managed to kick cancers butt... However, earlier this year she started with a pain in her shoulder blade and after scans, showed that the cancer had managed to get into her spine in 2 places. We have a treatment plan which will start over the next couple of weeks. She's an amazingly strong person and I know she can fight this battle but won't be doing it alone as her support network is astonishing. 

In light of all of this, myself and my closest buddies have decided to attempt to climb Ben Nevis on the 5th October to raise money for the amazing Rosemere Cancer trust in Preston who have looked after and supported Lesley in the most amazing way. This is to say thank you to her oncology / colorectal / radiotherapy team for always being there for her no matter what. 

So, myself, Danny Hope, Phijittra Hope, Daniel Sparks, Matthew Higgins, Kirsty Vickery, David Seaman's, Chris Oddie, Matthew Pickering and Robert Sharples will don our climbing boots and try and conquer the mighty Ben Nevis 

Please dig deep, if it wasn't for the team at Rosemere, Lesley wouldn't be here never mind be thrown a second lifeline. 

She means the absolute world to all of us
