I am running the London Marathon in memory of my brother, Tony. I always said that I couldn't run a Marathon but I did a half and then managed to get into the London Marathon first time on the ballot, I am sure that this is Tony up there determined to get me fit one way or another!

I am running for Brain Tumour UK to raise money for them so that they can continue researching Brain Tumours so that another family does not have to go through what we have this year. As I got in on the ballot, every penny of what I raise will go straight to Brain Tumour UK.

It has been a pretty tough year this year, not a day goes by when I don't think about Tony. It has been amazing to hear stories from people that knew Tony and how he managed to leave his mark all over the place. To me, Tony was my little brother and I miss him lots! It will be an emotional day running the marathon and I am looking forward to it.
