Story
Yay! Sunday afternoon and I've finished the race. I'm pretty happy with my time considering I've never managed to run 5kms straight before! I finished the race with 16,000 of my closest girlfriends. Thank you Kate for the moral support and the amazing cupcakes to finish! And a big thank you to all my donors. I'm almost at my target, but I'd love to break through it. So keep 'em coming!
I am raising funds for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. This charity provides free complementary therapy to cancer patients such as reflexology and massage as well as counselling. Those who know me will know I am a strong supporter of alternative medicine as a supplement to traditional Western medicine so I'm really happy to raise funds for this charity. The staff at the centres are so friendly & welcoming, I can only imagine it is a sanctuary for anyone undergoing cancer treatment. So please dig deep. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
