Story
Hi there everyone... As you know, I lost my younger brother Simon last October to kidney cancer, but although I'm still very sad Si wouldn't want us to mope around and be miserable on his behalf. He was always positive right to the end, which says a lot about his strength of character.
Now, a lot of you know me very well indeed and as such, will be quite shocked at my newfound enthusiam for exercise! but hey, you also know it's only a ploy to get you to dig into your pockets and spare a few coppers.
Although the last weeks of Si's life were very painful for him, the team at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice were fantastic and their care and support during this time was tremendous. So when I heard they were organising a 10 mile midnight sponsored walk in memory of someone special, I couldn't miss the opportunity to pay back in some small way.
So I hope you will be kind once more and donate generously to a lovely group of people who opened their hearts, shared their time unconditionally and cared for Si during his last few weeks with us.
To Si with love. Miss you loads. She..xx
