Shottermill School 52 Challenge - Intensive Care Appeal · 1 April 2021

The Intensive Care Society is the UK's leading critical care body. We support the entire intensive care community as they care for the sickest of patients. We exist to improve the lives of those teams by providing research, guidance, education, wellbeing and a lot more...

Story

The Shottermill Junior School 52 Challenge

We know Shottermill Juniors love a challenge! Help us raise £520 to support  intensive care staff who relentlessly care for the sickest patients in hospital.

It's now a whole 52 weeks since the first national lockdown, and intensive care staff have been continually caring for the sickest COVID-19 patients for all this time.

They need us to care for them too, and we can all get involved with the Shottermill 52 Challenge!

All you have to do is do 52 "somethings" over the Easter holidays. Your parent or carer can sponsor you by donating to our Just Giving page  and then you can upload photographs and videos to Mrs Barnes' Google Classroom stream.  (TEAM SHOTTERMILL)

You can be as creative as you like - some examples are 52 star jumps, 52 keepy-uppies, 52 hula hoops, 52 basket balls through a net or a 52 minute walk or run. What about writing a poem or short story with 52 words or making 52 star doodles. Can you do 52 times tables or listen to 52 songs and make a song list to share? Could you tidy up 52 things in the house? Anything goes as long as it's safe, fun, creative, healthy and energising mentally or physically.

The money raised will provide the intensive care staff with wellbeing and emotional support, and also fund research and provide essential education and lifesaving guidance to help deal with the impact of COVID-19."
