Having completed the Lakeland 50 on 4 occasions, and having 1 dnf, I felt it was time to take the step up to “the hundred”. 105 miles, 20000 feet of ascent and descent, 40 hours. Starting at 6pm from Coniston, I’ll have to navigate my way around an extremely challenging course with very technical terrain and deal with the amazing Lakeland weather! I’ve entered on a charity place to raise funds for the Lakeland 100 official charity Epic kidz, which does amazing work for local kids teams, groups and schools in the north of England.
