As many of you know I reach the big 40 this year! -  just 6 days before the 2011 London Marathon and 40 is a significant number to me as my Mum was told she would be in a wheelchair at the age of 40 when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 22.

Therefore I have chosen to run for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC) which provides an invaluable support & resource to all those affected, something that was not available for my mother and family members.

Thankfully today, my mum is 64 years old, leading a very active life and is not in a wheelchair.

I understand that times are tough in the current economic climate, therefore, I would greatly appreciate any sponsorship money that you can afford and I promise that I will get around the 26.2 miles no matter what it takes in order to make your donation even more worthwhile!
