Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I have chosen to run the London Marathon for Crohns and Colitis as my mum was diagnosed with Crohns disease when I was 9 months old. She has battled on with the illness whislt bringing up myself, my brother and my sister as well as having a part time job. Recently mum went into hospital for a bowel operation but unfortunately it went badly wrong and she ended up having major surgery and ended up in intensive care for 3 days.

My mum isn't the only person that Crohns disease affects. It affects 250,000 people in the United Kingdom so please help me in raising money towards reasearch to prevent others from suffering from this horrible disease!
