Fundraising for Action for Children
Story
Hello, Simon here.
I'm taking part in what the organizers are calling 'Porridgpot pot or bust.' Not really sure what that means but hey. What it consists of is 15+ miles of mountain biking, 6-7 miles of off road running and a mile kayaking. They are going to break up the journey by throwing in a few surprises which I think might include things like assault courses and other activities that will probably involve getting soaked or muddy! Hmmm... this could be interesting!
I'm going to be doing the challenge with two other friends, Paul and David, and we start and end the course together. Apparently the elite teams complete this challenge in two and half hours, so add a couple of hours on top of that and that's probably what we'll do it in I hope!

We weren't obliged to raise money for this event but I thought it doesn't hurt to try and raise some cash for a good cause. Hopefully you'll agree Action for Children is a very worthwhile charity. If you want to donate please do. Any amount will be much appreciated.
