GSK and Smile Train will work towards the goal of ensuring children born with clefts can lead full and productive lives, achieving their own potential and contributing to their wider community.

Story

On the 28th April, Chinju and I will be running the London Marathon in support of Smile Train, a charity working together with GSK to empower local medical professionals with training, funding, and resources to provide free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children globally. We advance a sustainable solution and scalable global health model for cleft treatment, drastically improving children’s lives, including their ability to eat, breathe, speak, and ultimately thrive.

1 in 700 children are born each year with cleft and the money raised makes a tangible difference. Every £200 raised changes the life of one child and covers the cost of an operation. If you would like to support this amazing cause then please donate via the link in my bio. All donations gratefully appreciated.
