Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder is more common than you might expect, yet so many families, parents, teachers, health professionals and those with ADHD struggle for support and information about the condition. That is where ADDISS (Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service) can help. 

ADHD is a big part of the lives of my family.  It has brought much enjoyment, fun and energy to family life, yet has also challenged us in many ways.  You don't have to look far to find someone with ADHD, although you probably don't know it, and many well known people have reached above and beyond with the condition.  The trick is to understand the condition and identify strategies and the environment that work to enable an ADHD'er to reach for the stars.  

In late 2021, 3 keen Cambridgeshire based gentlemen cyclists decided to take on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris in July 2022 (yes I am one of them).  The leap from Sunday morning cycles around the Cambridgeshire countryside (with a break for coffee / hot chocolate and a cinnamon bun) to more than 300 miles over 4 days ending in Paris is a big one.  But, it is one we are looking forward to and a great opportunity to raise awareness and money for our chosen charities...mine being ADDISS.
