Yes you've read this right. I, Mahnoor Ali, am running a half marathon. Don't worry I'm as surprised as you are. If you told me a year ago (when I was crutches bound) that i'd be doing this, I'd laugh in your face, BUT HERE I AM! 

The Fawcett Society is the UK’s leading charity campaigning for gender equality and women’s rights and I've been given the opportunity to intern with them this year and get up close and personal with all the work they do for women's rights in the UK. 

Not only do they fight sexism and gender inequality through hard-hitting campaigns and impactful research. But they're working on building a society in which women and girls in all their diversity are equal and truly free to fulfil their potential creating a stronger, happier, better future for us all. 

AND the fact that this lazy bum of a gal is VOLUNTARILY running 13.1 miles means I feel very strongly about their vision. So PLEASE help this Pavement Princess hit her fundraising target so that I'm not just left with Sweat, regret and Oxygen Debt at the end of all this!!
