Thank you very much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 25^th June we’ll be taking part in a charity fundraiser for “Cricket 4 Change” to help raise money to send young disabled children to . "Cricket 4 Change" are world leaders in using cricket to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people and have been a volunteering partner of the Bigger Picture since January 2009.

They are taking 26 children to in July 2010 and to make this experience of a lifetime a reality they need to raise £50,000 and they are currently looking at a shortfall of £10,000 which is where we come in.

The trip to Jamaica will see two teams, one for the visually impaired and one for the young people with a learning or physical disability taking on their Jamaican counterparts in three matches. The cricket is obviously of great excitement to the young people however, the trip offers so much more than this.  The young people may be away from their parents for the first time.  They will have the chance to challenge their independence and learn about taking responsibility for themselves in a totally new environment.  This trip will change the way these young people see themselves and the world around them. It has the potential to change their lives forever helping them to realise how much they can do and achieve rather than concentrating on what they cannot do.
