Story
*** Date revised due to poor weather on 18th Nov: now scheduled to jump on 1st Dec 2009 ****
Some darn fool suggested jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft, and raising a bit of money for a worthy local cause. Some other darn fools agreed and then, to add insult to injury (hopefully that's just a saying), we've gone and organised it...
And here we are. On the 1st December (weather permitting), we'll be jumping out of an aeroplane above Hinton nr Banbury, strapped to a nice bloke who'll do all the work and make sure we get back to earth safe and sound with a silly grin on our faces.
St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) helps people faced with a life-limiting illness, their families and carers by providing a choice of specialist care and support to enable them to attain the highest possible quality of life.
So it's a very worthy cause... please dig deep, and pledge whatever you can - large or small. If you're not keen on online donations, give any of us a shout or drop us an email, we're happy to collect the cash in person!
Wish us luck!
