Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that know me and how much I like my beer, you will understand how difficult this challenge will be. For those that don’t, consider the level of commitment - 12 months without alcohol.. I hope that you will all support me by believing that I can and will do this.

My reasoning is primarily for my own health and happiness on the run up to my 40th birthday and wanting to quit the habit of a weekly drink (or more) since.. well, let’s say the local pub weren’t happy to see my 18th birthday balloons..  I also hope that this may inspire others to follow suit and have a break or perhaps even quit a specific habit of their own. This can be you too 😉

This may seem a long stint to receive early donations. In the short term your kindness will motivate me to succeed and our success will bring much joy to our elder generation through my chosen charity Re-Engage following 27th September 2020. 

Re-Engage organise tea parties for the elderly and so what better way to help - your support through my beer free year for their cups of tea and some companionship. I figure they will enjoy it more, wake up free from hangover , inevitably perhaps still with some memory loss 😁🥳
