In 2007 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Like anyone I never wanted to hear the dreaded 'C' word but once the initial shock had passed I gritted my teeth and said to my self "come on girl deal with it, not only for yourself but for hubby Derek, family & friends"

Since that date I have met so many brave and wonderful people and was truely shocked how many woman and men of all ages are diagnosed. I can honestly say I was overwhelmed with the strength and courage of the people I have met. 

Sadly my husband Derek passed away himself in 2009 so now that I am fit and well again and having just celebrated my 40th birthday I really wanted to give something back and raise money for a very worthy cause.

So I decided to walk the great wall of china on my own (well with a team of strangers). Now as most of you know Im not one for exercise and am a bit of a porker as I certainly need to loose a few pounds, so this is not going to be easy task

Right now here is the bit where I am going to beg!
