On September 6th, I will be swimming 10km down the River Dart in Devon. This is a 'marathon' distance swim that'll take about 4 hours to complete.
Training to just cross the finish line is not my goal. I want to give the whole process meaning - every swim, every mile, every length, every stroke and every breath. Swimming 108 miles in 108 days is like a practice in mindfulness. And, for each mile completed I will 'earn' a bead so that by the end I'll have created a mala.
Put simply, this is about doing what I love for what I love, sharing it, expressing my gratitude to the LBC and supporting the communication of Dharma, the greatest cause I believe in.
Thank you for your kind generosity.
