Gully's Place Trust Fund supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Gully's Place Suites at Poole Hospital and Dorset County Hospital provide a homely place for end of life care and after death. The suites also provide facilities to enable transition from hospital to home for children with complex conditions as well as a quiet area for times when we have to break bad news. Gully's Place Trust Fund also provides equipment to enhance care on the children's ward, specialist training for staff, enhancing the environment for children and families and supports play and education for children during their stay in hospital as well as supporting children and families who require community care. We support bereaved families across Dorset which includes Gully's Place Bereaved Parents Group, annual memorial services, a closed Facebook group for peer support, dedicated beach hut at Sandbanks, and specialist counselling service.
