Hi!
OK, folks, this is it. Enough of all the ridiculous kids stuff! No more heated swimming pools! No more cosy swim lanes! No more lifeguards ready to rescue anyone clumsy enough to be drowning in 1m depth! It is time to take up the proper challenge!
Very soon I will be heading far South for a very first and very epic adventure of its kind in my lifetime - the swim between Canary Islands of La Graciosa and Lanzarote! I will defy ocean waves, battle strong currents, all while trying to stay afloat well above the deep seabed of El Rio and preferably avoid being eaten by any hungry sharks passing by. My aim is to survive for the most of the 2.6km journey, ideally making it to the other side with no bits missing.
