So what is this about?

I have decided to undertake a 11 week corporate boxing training programme whereby I will be training hard 4 - 6 days a week. On the 1st of November I will be entering the boxing ring to fight in front of friends and work colleagues at a black tie charity event. 

Having never boxed before in my life as you can imagine, this could get embarrassing....

So I’ve decided to compensate for the numerous punches to the face and make some something good out of this situation.

I have chosen to do this to raise money for the charity  MIND.  MIND provides invaluable resources to those suffering from mental health issues and given the strain on the healthcare system they really do help make a difference to those in need.

Ohhh and I’m also doing my first half marathon on the 15th of September so if you aren’t impressed by the boxing, perhaps a 21km run with minimal training will provide you with a good enough reason to donate 😉.
