Thanks for taking the time to visit Stevie Mac's JustGiving page.

Those of you that have known me for a while will already know that I like the occasional challenge.  So after several cycling and walking events I thought "why not have ago at this running lark, how hard can it be?" How wrong was I!!!

After a spot of research I found the ideal novice/first timer event.  The chosen "Fun Run" winds its way around some 26.2 mile of .  This annual event, taking place this weekend (25th April), see's some 30,000+ runners embark on a gruelling run in order to raise some well needed funds for their chosen charities.

This is where you come in!  I / my chosen charity need your money.  So who are they?  My first choice was the Stevie Mac/Pink/Smack/Stephen McArdle real ale fund, but apparently this isn't a registered charity!  Therefore I chose a local palliative care unit, Katharine House Hospice, who are reliant on the publics generosity to stay a float. 

Those of you who live locally will already be aware of the amazing support Katharine House Hospice offer to individuals and families who are suffering from/affected by terminal illness.  If you wish to find out more, just check out the link below.
