I have decided to do this half marathon to raise money for the department that took such great care of our then 17 yr old daughter, who was struck down suddenly with a brain tumour and bone cancer in the summer of 2013... They were the most amazing and dedicated team for her, along with doctors in Ireland's Cork university hospital too, special thanks go out to her team of surgeons lead by Mr Nick Thomas... Any money raised will be sent to the neurological department and Ruskin wing in Kings College Hospital, London
