Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who don't know me, the following story is why I run and raise money for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. For those who do know me I'm sorry to put you through it again (the running and the story!)

Our first son Sam was born on 26th August 1987 in Orsett Hospital. We moved back to our home town of Clacton 2 months later and bought ourelves a flat. On Christmas Day 1987 we did our rounds of the parents (Sam's Grandparents) and went home to be our own little family. We fed Sam a pureed Christmas Dinner, and then put him down to sleep at about 3pm. Ally and I then sat down to eat. Ally checked Sam at 3:45pm and he was dead in his cot. We've gone on to have three more sons, Luke 21, Jake 19. and Kris 17, but we never forget Sam, and his three brothers still come to his little grave on his birthday and on Christmas Eve.........
