In 2013, we ran our first half marathons in Edinburgh for the Laila Milly Foundation, a registered Children's charity providing care for families with children with complex health needs in West Yorkshire.

For 2015, we're doing 8 Half Marathons between us and Steve is doing a 170 mile Coast to Coast bike ride to raise funds again for the Laila Milly Foundation in memory of our daughter Nicola Marie Berry who was born and died in February 1986.

These are:

• Ackworth Half Marathon - April 12th (Steve completed in 2:39:37 & Wendy completed in 2:18:45)
• Liverpool Rock'n'Roll Half Marathon - June 14th (Steve completed in 2:29:52 - new personal best) & Wendy completed in 2:17:22)
• Morecambe to Bridlington Way of the Roses 170 mile Bike Ride - July (Steve) completed
  
• Vale of York Half Marathon - September 20th (Steve completed in 2:44:31 & Wendy completed in a new personal best of 2:14:51)
  
• Lisbon Rock'n'Roll Half Marathon - October 18th (Steve completed in 2:52:31 & Wendy completed in 2:23:39)

We both got personal bests and I even achieved a personal worst.
