Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  Three years after my dad was so wonderfully cared for by Marie Curie Cancer Care, I have decided that I want to do something that will allow me to give something back.  Not sure that this is necessarily a good idea but here goes........ 

I am leaving the family for a week to cycle coast to coast in Ireland and hope that you will sponsor my efforts to ensure that other people with terminal cancer can have the care and comfort that dad had over his last few weeks.  I know what a huge difference it made to mum, Helen and I to know that other people were caring for his needs while we made the most of the time we had left with him.

You may wonder why I have not decided to do a sponsored swim or even join in a rugby marathon,  I will let you know when I work it out!  Please pass this email on to anyone who you know that would remember dad.
