Story

Edwin Johnson and his dad Stewart will be taking part in the Hayling to Brittany Cycle Ride. The ride will take five days to complete and will be approximately 340 miles long.

Both Edwin and Stewart are keen sailors as well as cyclists and would like for more people to be able to participate in and enjoy the sport they love.  Sailing and cycling share many strengths for young people.  They promote confidence, friendship, teamwork, responsibility, independence and an ability to assess and cope with risk - and the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation enables young people who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to take part.

We have already paid all costs - all the money raised will be used to increase accessibility to sailing for young people.  Please sponsor us to make a difference to children who wouldn't otherwise get the chance.

About the charity

Absolutely everything we do is driven by our belief that all young people have the ability to excel and succeed in life and work. We believe that the challenges of Sailing and Watersports do this by promoting health and well-being and building essential personal skills.
