Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in a "Dawn to Dusk" archery FUN shoot on July 11th 2009. The object is to shoot as many arrows as we can throughout the day to raise money for the Rainbows Hospice (Loughborough).

This is how much FUN it's going to be......
Assemble at the field at 04:00 to set out the targets and get the coffee brewing.
First whistle to start shooting is at the official 'Dawn' which is 04:59.

Shooting officially recognised archery tournaments back to back, with a break after every 3 dozen arrows.
The distances will range from 100 yards, to 50 yards.
The centre of the target is just 9.5 inches in diameter.
Last whistle to collect arrows at the official 'Dusk' which is at 21:25.
This gives us over 16 hours of shooting, with an estimated 30+ dozen arrows.
The total number of arrows shot by each archer will be confirmed by the target captain.

Compare this to a standard tournament which would be 12 dozen arrows shot over 8 hours.
