I am running for Kidney Care UK as I have suffered from kidney issues throughout my adult life.  A couple of years ago I ended up in the hospital and spent some time recovering from Pyelonephritis.

On my wife's fathers side of the family, a young lad Matthew Pietrzyk was in need of a kidney donor and his mother Nicola petitioned nationally and internationally in search of a transplant, finally finding a successful match.

Charities like Kidney Care UK are important in helping and supporting families as they deal with and recover from kidney issues.

It is a fantastic charity and I'm looking forward to running for them in the Royal Parks half marathon.
