This will be my 12th Great North Run , I have done it for several different charities and dressed up as Elvis, The Hulk and Santa.

This year I will be Santa again (started growing beard now) , One of the most famous men in the world, so fittingly I will be doing it in aid of    The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust.

The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust hold PSA Testing evenings up and down the country, in the hope of catching Prostate cancer early and allowing time for treatment.

Facts about Prostate Cancer

* Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men                                  * Over 47,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year - that's 129 every day                                                                                              *Every 45 minutes one man dies from prostate cancer - that's more than 11,000 men every year                                                                                          * 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime

So lets get behind the fight against prostate cancer

Everybody will know of someone who has sadly passed or is fighting prostate cancer, a Dad, Husband,Uncle,Brother , Grandad ,Cousin or Partner, its not an easy time but if we can catch the cancer early it can be treated sooner with greater results.
