Right then, where do I start??

So as most who know me know, I've never been the fittest bloke, like ever in my life and that's always been fine with me... Until now!!

I have signed up to Ironman Tenby 2023!!!

Here's my experience in each discipline...

🏊 Can't swim without legs sinking after 50m and never swam in open water/sea
IRONMAN DISTANCE 2.4 MILES

🚵‍♂️ Furthest I've ever been, Burry Port and back on a mountain bike about 10 years ago (11 miles)
IRONMAN DISTANCE 112 MILES

🏃 3 Half Marathons (13.1 miles)
IRONMAN DISTANCE 26.2 MILES

So as you can see, I'm nowhere near the distances that I need to be at and never have been, so this is a huge challenge both physically and more so mentally!!!

Most I've told have laughed and told me I'll never do it, only time will tell and I can't wait to see you all once I cross the finish line 😂😂😂

I'm doing this to prove that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and get s**t done consistently! Set a goal, focus on it daily and it will become a reality!!

I've chosen to do this for Active for Autism a local charity founded and run by a great friend of mine, Double Ironman... Tom Shaw 💪
This charity provides much needed help for local families who need assistance that's not reachable on the NHS and is very close to my heart!
