I have decided to complete the 'Toughest Foot-race on Earth' to raise funds for the Scope charity and in memory of my very special father-in-law Mike Willis who was always up for a mad challenge especially when there was a drink at the end!

MdS is a grueling multi-stage 250K race in one of the world’s most inhospitable environments – the Sahara desert. You have to be self-sufficient and carry all your own food and equipment for the week on your back.

It won't be easy (understatement), but my short-lived hardship is nothing compare to the strength needed by those families coping with disability every day.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life & I hope you will support me to raise funds to help ensure they get it.
