Dave had a faulty valve in his heart, and whilst medication helped it was not a long term solution, and he was unlikely to live very long. Dan Brockman at the RVC performed pioneering surgery on him, and he's now back with us with a much improved quality and length of life. The total costs of the operation are capped, and in gratitude for their skills and care of Dave I'm trying to raise some money to give back to their charitable foundation.
