In 2015 Sue was beaten by the disease that she had been fighting for almost 10 years.

In 2005 Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was at that point our world fell apart. As the disease spread, Sue fought bravely and endured many difficult bout of Chemo and other treatments, but always with a smile on her face for others. Throughout it all she was a rock for us and all who knew her.
She was a light that shone into the lives of all who knew her and she will be sadly missed by me, the children, all her family and her many friends... but never forgotten. 

It is no doubt that the care Sue received, her attitude to the disease and the changes she made to her lifestyle helped her to fight and to live longer than most people do in this situation.  

The people at Rennie Grove were very important to Sue and helped in many ways.
