We promote research into brain tumours to close the funding gap for brain tumours

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Sue's JustGiving page.

Sue was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in early 2011 and survived for nearly two years before passing away peacefully on 7 February 2013. This did not prevent Sue, her husband Dave and their children James and Lydia enjoying some really good times together.

Sue was a wonderful mother, wife and best friend - our guiding light who we loved and will continue to love with all our hearts.

It was Sue's request that any charitable donation should be directed to Charing Cross oncology. Money raised by Brain Tumour Research Campaign acting in association with Way Ahead Charity will be used to support brain tumour research conducted at Charing Cross Hospital.

None of the money raised on behalf of BTRC will be spent on administration – 100% of funds raised will go to research projects and that means patients, families and collaborating Trusts will all benefit from your kindness and generosity.

Thank you very much from all of us.

About the charity

BTRC works with a Neurosciences team at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals (Imperial College London) to promote research into the causes of brain tumours and possible new treatments, to raise public awareness of the desperate need for this research and the current lack of funding.
