Story
Our mum was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour, in February this year, and passed away just a few short months later in May.
In her last week she was transferred to the Myton Hospice in Coventry, which provided wonderful care for all of us, allowing her to enjoy the sunshine and a visit from the dog, and meant we could stay overnight with her at the end.
Myton Hospices run primarily on fundraising and donations, and need to raise £9,600,000 this year to be able to run. We estimate the her stay there for one week cost them around £3,745, and we would like to be able to contribute towards this, so they can continue to support families and care for patients like they did for us.
