Climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, all within 24 hours

After 17 years with Deutsche Bank and always supporting colleagues in their charity efforts, it is now time for me to also get actively involved.

Everybody who knows me can imagine that I did not think twice when I got offered this opportunity: A tough physical challenge for the benefit of two wonderful charities.

With six other DB colleagues we will be taking on this challenge on May 5th. On Friday morning at 08:30 we'll begin our ascent of Ben Nevis. Then, after being driven to Wasdale Head, at 20:30 on Friday evening we'll start our climb of Scaffell Pike. One last transfer to Pen y pass at 01:00 on Saturday, and at 05:30 we'll commence our final ascent of Snowdon, to reach the finish line by 08:30!

100% of the fundraising goes directly to the charities (we cover our own costs) and Deutsche Bank will match every £1 that our supporters donate, doubling the impact of their donations!

Hope and Homes for Children exist to help the 8 million children who are trapped in orphanages around the world claim back their lives and grow up within the love of a family. They are leading experts in closing down orphanages and reforming Childcare systems worldwide.

They develop sustainable, systemic solutions alongside local organisations and
authorities, ensuring the interests of children always come first. And by working with Governments to put the right legislation in place, they make sure it is there for the long-term.

By supporting Autistica you will be giving children with autism the chance to live longer, healthier and happier lives. Help us to provide families with the answers they so desperately need to get earlier diagnosis and support, to manage paralysing mental health problems and achieve their potential in life.
