To support the continued work of our amazing volunteers and to fund essential costs to allow us to care for the cats, like Moose, in our care, Swale Cats Protection are having an online Raffle this Spring!!!
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not been able to hold any of our fundraising activities this past year. This includes attending Spring and other Fairs and running Raffles at these events.
To help us raise well needed funds and be in with a chance of winning a great Prize, you can purchase virtual Raffle tickets for our online Spring Raffle for only £2.00 each!

Simply make a donation of £2 per ticket; you can also give £10 for five tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket/tickets numbers into our Raffle Draw automatically.

Raffle ticket online sales close at midnight on Tuesday 27th April 2021 and winners will be randomly selected on Sunday 2nd May at 5pm on our JustGiving site and on our social media pages. Winners will also be contacted by email and prizes must be arranged to either be collected or delivered local to Swale by the winners and the branch.
*Please note if Prizes are to be posted the winner is to cover postage fees. Also if the Afternoon Tea is won by someone outside of the Swale area an alternative Prize may be substituted, as postal delivery of this prize is not possible.*

Terms and conditions - Please read.
1. The draw will take place live on our Facebook Event page on Sunday 2nd May 2021 between 5pm. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).
2. Promoter: Dominic Sullivan, Cats Protection, National Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT
3. The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.
4. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
5. The cost of each ticket is £2.
6. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded.
7. Tickets are not to be sold to or by any person under the age of 18 years old. If you suspect someone may be under the age of 18, then you should request proof of age. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.
8. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
9. Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.
10. Any money received after the arbitrary/closing date (27th April 2021) including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.
11. Winners will be notified via email within three weeks of the draw. A list of winners will also be published on the Swale Cats Protection Facebook event page and website https://www.cats.org.uk/swale
12. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payment lost or delayed after emailing them to you. Please keep your ticket number as proof of purchase. All tickets will be purchased via JustGiving, therefore you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address. Any payments received where this box isn't ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received.
14. Participants purchasing tickets using Just Giving subject to terms and conditions will receive emailed ticket numbers within 48 hours.
15. The deadline for entries on the Just Giving site is 27th April 2021 at Midnight. This is 72 hours prior to the closing date/ time to allow time for the entry to be processed.
16. Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner’s name and town for promotional purposes.
17. Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. Eg if you donate £2.80 you will only receive one entry into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.
18. Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
